The Senso Diva Award 2003 |
Widex, one of the world's leading manufacturers of hearing aids, introduces the Senso Diva Award 2003. With this national/international award, Widex wishes to inspire people to tell about their personal experiences with one of the world's best digital hearing aids.
For Widex, it is all about making everyday life easier for people with hearing loss and helping them regain the full pleasure of other people's company. The award will be given to people who can tell a good story about how the decision to use a hearing aid changes everyday life and brings quality to life.
The award will be given in two categories. One will go to people that use Senso Diva hearing aids and want to tell others about how much more they get out of life. The other is for professional dispensers that fit Senso Diva and thus give their customers the best possibility of getting more out of being together with family, friends and colleagues.
In both categories the first prize will be a weekend break for two in Copenhagen. The national winners from all over the world will be automatically nominated for the international part of the Senso Diva Award, in which the first prize in each category will be a holiday for two in the West Indies.
With the Senso Diva Award 2003, Widex is putting the spotlight on the many people who have a good story to tell about getting more out of everyday life by using an advanced hearing aid.
Surveys show that stories from role models are a good means of changing people's attitudes. For example, when people with hearing loss tell about their experiences, they help others to make the decision to use a hearing aid – and thus do something to get more out of life.
To be nominated for the Senso Diva Award one must tell one's personal story – and there are just as many good stories as there are people. Here are a few examples:
Someone who uses a hearing aid tells about everyday situations in which better hearing makes a noticeable difference. A family member, friend or colleague inspires someone with hearing loss to make the decision to get a hearing aid. A dispenser makes an extra effort to advise his customers on how to get the best out of their hearing aid.
