Hello everyone,

My name is Cathryn and I am 9 years old. Thank you for my hearing aid. I have called it Bobby. Since getting Bobby, I can hear things that I have never heard before. I can even hear my mum whispering when I am not supposed to!

At school it is really good because I do not miss out on any of my teachers' words. My friends think Bobby is really cool. Mrs. Lundy has been really nice to me and I like her very much. I hope that you like my photo. Not only can I talk to the animals, I can now hear them talk to me too.

Cathryn's new hearing aid (letter from Cathryn's parents)

We are writing this note to say thank you for your fast and very efficient service to our daughter Cathryn.

For five years now the NHS has tried to insist that Cathryn should wear one of their hearing aids. She used to cry and say that it hurt her because it was too loud. We then called in on Mrs. Lundy from Scunthorpe Hearing Centre one day and she gave Cathryn a thorough hearing test and recommended a Senso hearing aid.

We cannot explain how delighted we were that an in-the-ear hearing aid could be designed especially for Cathryn. She has always been an extremely special little girl to us and her being able to have the correct device fitted means that she no longer misses out on the slightest thing that for her makes her feel "normal".
