Widex' products must always be used in full compliance with the directions given by the hearing healthcare professional when the product in question is acquired. These directions include:
 Never putting batteries, the wax guard or the hearing aid into the mouth. |
| Disposing of batteries with care. |
| Keeping batteries out of the reach of children and the mentally disabled. | Your Widex hearing aid is a personal item. When the hearing aid was fitted care was taken to compensate specifically for your individual hearing impairment. Therefore, a Widex hearing aid must not be used by anyone but the person for whom the hearing healthcare professional fitted the hearing aid. All Widex hearing aids are precision instruments. For the hearing aid to work as intended, you are requested to observe the following precautionary rules:
| Only Widex' hearing healthcare professionals shall be allowed to adjust the settings of, and reprogram, your Widex hearing aid. |
| Do not attempt to open your Widex hearing aid or wire it up to the mains. |
| A Widex hearing aid must be cleaned on a daily basis in accordance with the directions received when the aid was acquired and the accompanying instructions for use. |
| When not using your hearing aid, keep it in the original package. |
