I knew that I had a hearing loss, but I never really thought about what kind of difference a hearing aid could make. I guess it really boiled down to playing good oldfashioned ego, worrying about appearances. But then I thought ‘That’s rubbish’.I think the most important impact the hearing aid has is the one on your own personality because you become more comfortable with yourself. You accept yourself for who you are – as a complete person.
