The most significant event in my life

Testimonial by "Barbara Faure"
Dear Widex

The most significant event in my life was the first time I heard things that I'd never heard before. It was something absolutely special to me - something that really has changed my life in SO many ways. Something that I'll have for the rest of my life.

In Grade 6 my parents told me about the Widex Senso hearing aids and the wonderful quality of hearing it gives to a hearing impaired person. We all were amazed how it worked with automatic adjustments with sounds. I hated it when I had to put my volume up high or low with my old hearing aid for certain things and it would take me a while to get it to the normal volume. It was a pain.

I had a hearing test and was fitted with the Widex Senso hearing aid. I was amazed to see how small they were compared to my old ones. It's wonderful how these hearing aids protect the eardrum from getting more damage from loud sounds. I then wanted to see if I could hear soft sound, my mother spoke softly to me and my hearing aids made her voice sound just right in my ears.

This was a wonderful emotional moment and it changed my life. I could now hear the things that I've never heard before and the sounds that I couldn't hear crystal clear. When I got home, I could hear everyone speaking more clearly. For example, I can hear all the "s" at the end of words. I can speak and hear over the phone and cellphone, my music CD's sound better than ever before.

These hearing aids have helped me one hundred percent better than my old ones. It's wonderful to hear things I've never heard before, I can even hear the car engine when we are driving. Thanks to new technology I live my life to the fullest.
